Heard Mr. Ranjan Kumar, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Shiv Shankar Kumar, the learned APP for the State.
Mr. Ranjan Kumar, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits the case the of love affair, moreover the case has been lodged after delay of seven months and therefore there is much suspicion cast on the allegation. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been in custody from 27.06.2021 and therefore, at least for the purpose of bail he should be given the privilege of bail.
Learned counsel for the State, on the other hand, has opposed the bail petition and pointed out the age of the girl was on a very tender as around 14 years and therefore the petitioner should not be granted bail.
Having heard both counsels, gone through the records of the case and in the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, named above, on bail at this stage.
Accordingly, the bail application of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.
