Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with S.T. Case No.291 of 2021 arising out of Ranka P.S. Case No. 162 of 2021, corresponding to G.R. No.1905 of 2021, registered under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned District and Sessions Judge-I, Garhwa.

It is alleged that on 27.06.2021 at about 07:30 A.M., daughterin-law of the informant Binda Devi was strangulated near Charakpathri.

Suspicion has been cast upon petitioner and his family members that due to land dispute, they might have committed her murder.

From the impugned order, it transpires that during course of investigation petitioner was arrested and he confessed his guilt.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is no eye witness to the occurrence and apart from suspicion and confession of this petitioner there is no other cogent material against the petitioner on record.

Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of this case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned District and Sessions Judge-I, Garhwa, in connection with S.T. Case No.291 of 2021 arising out of Ranka P.S. Case No. 162 of 2021, corresponding to G.R. No.1905 of 2021.
