10/20.02.2020. Heard Mr. Ranjan Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. Richa Sanchita, learned counsel for respondent nos. 5 and 6.

The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for direction upon the respondents to grant registration of examination equivalent to Class-VIII of student of Bastania Madarsa Jamia Gousiya School, Khas Mahal.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this matter has been filed in the year 2015. By way of referring page 17 of the writ petition, he submits that representation has been filed before the District Education Officer, Sahibganj.

Learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent nos. 3 and 4, wherein, it has been stated that the District Education Officer is not the competent authority for registration of the School/Madarsa.

Learned counsel for respondent nos. 5 and 6 submits that counter affidavit has also been filed on behalf of respondent nos. 5 and 6, wherein, it has been stated that they have already sought information from the State Government for the needful, which has not been received as yet.

In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for the parties, it appears that this writ petition has been filed in the year 2015. In the meantime, several examination must have been taken place. In that view of the matter, no positive direction can be issued to the respondents upon the prayer made in the writ petition. Without going into the merit of the case, the petitioner is directed to approach the appropriate competent authority for his grievance. If such petition is filed, the competent authority will take decision, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
