The petitioner has challenged the judgment dated 29.03.2016 passed in Maintenance Petition No.216 of 2014 by which he has been directed to pay Rs.15,000/- per month as maintenance to his wife besides Rs.5,000/- in lump-sum as litigation cost.
Mr. M.B. Lal, the learned counsel appears for opposite
party.
Mr. Saibal Mitra, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the parties have agreed to resolve their dispute amicably and now they have filed a petition under section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 seeking divorce by mutual consent.
On such grounds, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition.
Accordingly, Criminal Revision No.544 of 2016 is dismissed as withdrawn.
