Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned APP appearing for the State. None appears on behalf of the opposite party No. 2 in spite of valid service of notice.
The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1247 of 2018, pending before the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Palamau.
The marriage of the complainant was solemnized with the petitioner in the year 2014. It has been alleged that there was a demand of Rs. 1 Lakh cash and on non-fulfillment of which she was subjected to torture. A compromise was effected but subsequently the complainant was ousted from her matrimonial house.
The allegation appears to be general and omnibus in nature so far as the petitioner is concerned, who is the husband of the complainant.
In view of the aforesaid facts, the interim anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner on 23.01.2020 in connection with Complaint Case No. 1247 of 2018 is hereby confirmed.
This application stands disposed of.
