The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Doranda P.S. Case No. 379 of 2019.
It has been alleged that the accused persons had sold the land belonging to the informant to other persons vide six sale deeds. A supplementary affidavit has been filed by the petitioner in response to the counter affidavit of the State wherein it has been stated that the petitioner has got one criminal antecedent.
Regard being had to the antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
However, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of three weeks and prays for bail, the learned court below shall expedite the disposal of the said bail application without being prejudiced by this order of rejection.
