petitioner and Ms. Amrita Banerjee, learned A.C. to G.P. – I for the respondents.
In this writ application the petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondents to issue caste certificate in favour of the petitioner showing her to be belonging to ‘Kumhar’ caste as it has been stated that she has completed all the formalities and had applied for the same in the month of February, 2008.
In the counter affidavit which has been filed by the respondents it has been stated that the S.D.O., Godda has already issued Caste Certificate No. 198 dated 23.02.2010 and from a perusal of the Caste Certificate it appears that the petitioner has been shown to be belonging to ‘Kumhar’ caste.
Since the prayer of the petitioner has been redressed by the respondents, nothing survives in the present writ application which accordingly stands disposed of.
