Petitioner is accused in Ranka P.S. Case No. 126 of 2008, corresponding to G.R. No. 1359 of 2008 (S.T. No. 112 of 2019), registered for the offence under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 27, 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of C.L.A. Act and Sections 38, 39 of the U.A.P. Act.
Although the offence is of the year 2008, the petitioner is still remanded in this case on 30.07.2018.
In this status report was called for, which has been received.
Perused the report dated 14.06.2019 submitted by Ajit Kumar, learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Garhwa, which reveals that on 13.03.2019, charges have been framed against the petitioner under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 27, 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of C.L.A. Act and Sections 38, 39 of the U.A.P. Act and out of eight final form witnesses, two witnesses have been examined and the trial court estimated six months time to conclude the trial.
Further, in this case criminal antecedent report of the petitioner was called for, which has been received.
