Petitioner is accused for allegedly committing an offence punishable under Sections 25(1-B)a, 26/35 of the Arms Act, in connection with Rajmahal Police Station Case No.79 of 2018 (G.R. No.244 of 2018) corresponding to Sessions Trial No.294 of 2018, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge I, Rajmahal.
One country-made rifle with five cartridges of .315 bore and some other ammunitions were recovered. Prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected on 10.09.2018. Petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has remained in custody since 09.04.2018 and charge has already been framed.
Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner, but, cannot deny the aforesaid fact.
In view of the aforesaid fact, petitioner, namely, Rajindra @ Rajendra Mahto @ Rajindra Mahto, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge I, Rajmahal in connection with Rajmahal Police Station Case No.79 of 2018 (G.R. No.244 of 2018) corresponding to Sessions Trial No.294 of 2018.
