The petitioner claims to have purchased the land pertaining to Khata No. 65, Plot No. 277, Mouza-Hatma, Circle-Sadar, having total area of 3.44 decimal by way of registered sale-deed no. 4903 executed in the year 2011. According to the petitioner, mutation of the land was also done in her favour and rent receipt for the said land has also been issued in the year 2012-13 manually. Her name was also entered in Register-II maintained in the circle office. The grievance of the petitioner is that she has been representing the respondent no. 4 – the Circle Officer, Sadar, Ranchi since 2017 for issuance of online rent receipt in her favour, however, the same has not yet been issued, despite the fact that online rent receipts have been issued to Smt. Mamta Mandal who possesses the land under the same khata.

Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and looking into the contents of the writ petition, the petitioner is given liberty to file fresh representation before the respondent no. 4 along with relevant documents for issuance of online rent receipts in her favour for the land in question. On receipt of the said representation, the respondent no. 4 after verifying the facts from the relevant records, shall take appropriate steps in this regard within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.
3. The writ petition is disposed of with aforesaid liberty and
direction.
