Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected on 18.03.2017 in B.A. No. 2001 of 2017.
It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that similarly situated co-accused person namely Kajru Kumar Mahto @ Lakhendar Kumar Mahto has been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No. 926 of 2017. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 16.09.2016 and the kidnapped boy had returned on the very next day.
Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail made by the petitioner.
Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-XII, Hazaribagh in connection with Barkagaon P.S. Case No. 201/16, corresponding to G.R. No. 2411/2016 (S.T. No. 187/2017).
