Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The petitioner is an accused for the offence under sections 498 (A), 341, 323 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The petitioner was in custody and was released on provisional bail by this Court on 31.01.2017 to facilitate the conciliation. The matter was taken up by the Mediator JHALSA and a report dated 19.06.2017 has been received by this Court. From perusal of the said report, it is apparent that the parties have agreed to settle the dispute amicably and the mediation was successful in terms of settlement arrived at which is annexed with the said report.
Learned counsel for both the parties admits that the dispute has been settled between the parties.
Learned counsel for the informant appears and submits that his client has no grievance, if the provisional bail is confirmed.
In view of the said submission and since the matter has been amicably settled between the parties, the provisional bail dated 31.01.2017 granted by this Court is hereby confirmed.
