Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset has submitted that petitioner is ready to surrender before the learned trial court.
It appears from the status report that at the time of final argument, petitioner had not appeared which resulted in cancellation of his bail bond on 16.12.2008. Thereafter he was declared absconder and permanent warrant of arrest has been issued against the petitioner.
In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner, if petitioner surrenders in the court below within three weeks from today, learned trial court shall pass necessary order on his surrender in accordance with law.
Since the trial is at its fag end and in view of the undertaking given by learned counsel for the petitioner, this application is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
