The petitioner has been made accused for the offence under Sections 364-A / 34 of the Indian Penal Code, in connection with B.S. City P.S. Case No. 74 of 2015 corresponding to G.R. No. 362 of 2015.
The case relates to kidnapping for ransom of the son of the informant, who was subsequently released upon getting the ransom money. The FIR shows that the petitioner is named by the victim.
In the facts of this case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner, Mahadeo Gope, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.
