Mr. Rajesh Shanker, learned Government Advocate, while drawing the attention of this Court to the Counter Affidavit filed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Crime Control Room), Hazaribagh, states that the purpose of the instant public interest litigation has now been achieved as one of the constables, namely, Navneet Kumar, the body-guard of ex-minister has been booked in a criminal case being Sadar P.S Case No.905 of 2013 dated 24.11.2013 in which not only the arms and ammunition have been recovered at his instance, he has been put to trial also after filing of the challan on 28.2.2014. According to Mr. Rajesh Shanker, the trial is in progress.
Viewed thus, we do not find any reason to keep the instant public interest litigation on Board any more. Disposed of, accordingly.
