08/12.09.2012: Mr. Atanu Banerjee, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the authority slip for payment of Rs.1,00,000/- has been sent to the Office of the Accountant General, Bihar, as the petitioner is proposing to take payment from the Treasury, which is at Bihar.
Learned counsel further submits that though the amount of Rs.1,00,000/- which had been forfeited by the State has been paid, the authority is required to make payment of the interest over that amount and, therefore, the State be, directed to make payment of the amount of the interest over the said amount.
Without expressing any opinion over the said submission, this proceeding is dropped. However, the petitioner may file representation before the authority in this regard.
