Learned counsel appearing for the parties fairly submit that the issue raised in this petition is fully covered by the judgment of this Court dated 2^nd April, 2026 passed in WP(C) No. 487/2024, titled “ Union of India and others Vs. Rachhpal Singh”, and the said judgment places reliance upon the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court rendered in the case titled “ Union of India and others Vs. Balakrishnan Mullikote, 2026 INSC 286” .

In view of the aforesaid, no further adjudication on the issues raised in this writ petition is called for. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of, being fully covered by the judgment of Balakrishnan Mullikote, supra, with a direction to the Union
