The petitioner, through the medium of present petition, has challenged order dated 12.03.2026, whereby, he has been attached to the office of Block Development Officer, Kishtwar.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.

As per the impugned order, some complaints were received against the petitioner, who is working as a Technical Assistant under MGNREGA of Block Warwan with additional duties in Block Marwah. In order to verify the authenticity of these complaints, the Assistant Commissioner Development, has, by virtue of the impugned order, attached the petitioner to the office of Block Development Officer, Kishtwar so as to ensure proper enquiry into the matter.

The order impugned is neither punitive in nature nor does it visit the petitioner with any adverse consequences. The order has been issued by the Assistant Commissioner Development with a view to conduct fair and transparent enquiry into the allegations made against the petitioner.

The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has not been given any opportunity of hearing before issuing the said order, is without any merit as the respondents have not taken any action adverse to the petitioner so far. Even the enquiry has not been conducted so far.

For the foregoing reasons, I do not find any ground to interfere with the impugned order.

The writ petition is dismissed .
