Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already filed the objections to the selection of respondent No. 5. Learned counsel for respondent No. 5 submits that on 14.09.2026 in a writ petition bearing WP(C) No. 2742/2026 filed by respondent No. 5, directions have been issued to the official respondents to consider and decide the objections received against the selection of respondent No. 5 most expeditiously within a period of one month.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the official respondents to consider the objections of the petitioner filed against the selection of respondent No.5 alongwith other objections and decide the same expeditiously within the aforesaid period, whereafter, a decision in accordance with law shall be taken by the official respondents.
