Petitioner has invoked writ jurisdiction of this Court for the quashment of order dated 17.07.2026, whereby he came to be transferred from PEG, Anantnag to Rajasthan Zone and order dated 22.07.2026, whereby, he came to be relieved.

The short grievance projected by the petitioner is that his daughter being indisposed and suffering with kidney disease, is undergoing monthly medical treatment, regular consultations and investigations. Her medical condition requires continuous monitoring and his presence is indispensable. His minor daughter, a student of 6^th Class, needs proper care and attention and he himself being indisposed is already on medical leave. Therefore,

immediately after the impugned orders came to be passed, he preferred a representation on 18.07.2026, for redressal of his grievance, which till date has not been accorded consideration.

After arguing for a while, Mr. Anupam Raina, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied if respondents are directed to consider the representation preferred by the petitioner in a time bound manner and till then consider his placement anywhere in the Kashmir province.

Having regard to the limited nature of controversy and an innocuous prayer made by learned senior counsel for the petitioner, present petition is admitted to hearing and disposed of with a direction to the respondents to sympathetically consider the representation dated 18.07.2026, preferred by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date copy of this order, alongwith writ petition and annexures is made available. Respondents are also directed to consider the placement/posting of petitioner anywhere in Kashmir Province till his representation is decided, as per law.
