laid down by the Hon’ble Apex Court in its recent judgment passed in case titled “Union Territory of J&K and others Vs. Saba Wani” decided on 30.04.2026 has been rendered infructuous, as the petitioner is not figuring in the select panel and, therefore, no relief can be granted at this stage.

In view of the rider imposed by the Hon’ble Apex Court and keeping in view the nature of the reliefs sought in the instant petition, whereby the petitioner is seeking quashment of the final panel of RET Teacher prepared for M.S Margaimar, revenue village Qasba Poonch, and published vide notice dated 24.12.2013 with a direction to engage the petitioner from out of candidates belonging to the said habitations, the writ petition cannot be proceeded with, particularly as the petitioner is not figuring in the select panel. The reliefs sought in the instant petition, therefore, cannot be acceded to.

Accordingly, in view of the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Apex Court mentioned (supra) the writ petition is not maintainable and liable to be dismissed in the light of rider imposed by the Hon’ble Apex Court in case mentioned supra.
