Through the medium of this petition, the Petitioner has challenged
the Detention Order No. DIVCOM-“K”/96 of 2025 dated 23rd of May, 2025, issued by Respondent No. 2- Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, whereby he had been detained under Section 3 the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and psychotropic Substances Act, 1998.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the impugned order of detention dated 23rd of May, 2026, executed on 27th of May, 2025 with the maximum period of one year has already outlived its life.
On the above factual backdrop, the petition is disposed of , as having been rendered infructuous .
