01. In light of fact that the petitioner and the respondent No. 2-Mahima Sharma having now chosen to split from their

matrimonial relationship by way of a petition under Section 13-B of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, filed on

30.12.2025 , before the court of learned Principal Judge, (Family Court), Jammu, it has come to be resolved between the petitioner and the respondent No. 2 to bring to an end all the criminal and civil litigations pending and involving them and, accordingly, one of the litigations is originating from and relatable to FIR No. 12/2014 registered by Police Station Women Cell, Jammu, whereupon a final police report/charge-sheet No. 118 of 2014 came to be presented for trial before the court of Judicial Magistrate 1^st Class, (Sub-Judge), Jammu, for seeking quashment of which the petitioner had come forward with the present petition under

Mr. Rohit Kohli, learned Senior Counsel, assisted by Mr. Raghav Gaind, learned Advocate for the petitioner, and Mr. Sayeed Moghees-ul-Hassan, learned Advocate appearing vice Mr. Rajesh Bhushan, learned counsel for the respondent No. 2 submit before this Court that in the light of the consensus having been arrived at between the petitioner and the respondent No. 2, an immediate

indulgence be granted to order quashment of criminal cases read with FIR above referred.

Accordingly, the present petition is, thus, allowed by bringing the penal side litigation between the petitioner and the respondent No. 2 to an end with quashment of criminal case sourced to FIR No. 12/2014 registered by Police Station Women Cell, Jammu read with challan/charge-sheet No. 118/Challan on the file before the court of Judicial Magistrate 1^st Class, (SubJudge), Jammu.

04. A copy of this order be forwarded by the learned Registrar Judicial, Jammu, to the court of Judicial Magistrate 1^st Class, (Sub-Judge), Jammu, for being taken on record for consigning the case file to record accordingly.
