This is an application seeking rectification of the typographical error in respect of name of one of the accused persons namely “Ghulam Qadir Bhat” in the order dated 10.07.2025.
A perusal of the writ petition reveals that in the body of the petition, name of the accused has been mentioned as “Ghulam Qadir Sheikh” whereas in the prayer part of the petition, he has been referred as “Ghulam Qadir Bhat” and perhaps because of this reason, this Court has also mentioned the name of the accused as “Ghulam Qadir Bhat” instead of “Ghulam Qadir Sheikh”. The order dated 10.07.2025 is rectified to the extent that name of the accused person “Ghulam Qadir Bhat” shall be read as “Ghulam Qadir Sheikh”. At this stage, Mr. Nisar Ahmad Bhat, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the accused person is also known by his other name as “Sofi” which finds mention in the police report. However, to this extent, clarification/rectification is not required. The petitioners can submit the status report filed before this Court before the concerned Magistrate. This order shall form part of the order dated 10th July 2025.
