This Contempt Petition is filed alleging violation of final Order dated 16th of November, 2015 passed in LPASW No. 458/2002, whereby and whereunder this Court, while allowing the aforesaid appeal filed by the Appellants/ Petitioners herein, observed as under:
“…
Compliance Report stands filed on behalf of the Respondents,
wherein it is stated that the final Order dated 16th of November, 2015
passed by this Court, of which disobedience is alleged, stands complied with by the issuance of Government Order No. 192-Home of 2022 dated 25th of June, 2022 with the revision of seniority position at the level of Senior Prosecuting Officer(s) and Chief Prosecuting Officer(s) as well as grant of promotion of the Senior Prosecuting Officer(s) and Chief Prosecuting Officer(s). A copy of the aforesaid Order dated 25th of June, 2022 has been enclosed with the Compliance Report as Annexure-I.
Having gone through the final Order dated 16th of November, 2015 passed by this Court and after perusing the Government Order dated 25th of June, 2022 issued by the Respondents, we are satisfied that the directions passed by this Court stand implemented. That being so, there is no occasion for us to proceed any further in this Contempt Petition. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition shall stand closed. We, however, make it clear that, in the event the Petitioners have any further grievance with regard to the aforesaid Government Order dated 25th of June, 2022, they shall be at liberty to challenge the same in appropriate proceedings.
Disposed of as above.
