In this PIL, the main issued is with regard to the functioning of the

Forensic Science Laboratory.

¶17

Response stands filed by the respondents, in which it has been demonstrated that the steps have been undertaken by the respondents for making the Forensic Science Laboratory in UT of J&K functional in a better and effective manner. Needless to say that much more is required to be done in this aspect also. The said issue can also be considered in PIL No. 05 of 2013. The proceedings in this petition are closed.
