The present petition was filed by the petitioner in the year 2017, in which the prayer was made for directing the respondents to issue passport in favour of the petitioner so that he can perform Haj.
Reply stands file by the respondents, in which it is stated that report from the CID was called and the CID has submitted Police Verification Report (PVR) dated 28.04.2017 stating therein that the petitioner is involved in at least four FIRs and three FIR are arising out of NDPS, regarding which the challans are pending before the courts of law.
The petitioner seems to be out on bail.
Learned counsels for the respondents submits that until and unless No Objections Certificate is issued in favour of the petitioner, passport cannot be issued in his favour.
Be that as it may, period of Haj has already been over. In case the petitioner still requires passport, he is required to fulfill all the requirements in terms
