The present petition has been filed seeking expeditious disposal of the complaint titled, Abdul Majeed Dar vs. Ghulam Hassan Ghazi pending before the Court of JMIC (Sub Registrar), Srinagar.
Pursuant to the direction of this Court, the learned Magistrate has filed detailed report, in which the time consumed by the complainant as well as the accused has been explained. It is stated that there is no delay on the part of the Court and the delay if any was due to the application filed by the complainant summoning the Postman of the High Court, which application was subsequently withdrawn by the complainant. Later on due COVID-19 pandemic, no effective proceedings could be conducted.
In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction JMIC(Sub Registrar) Srinagar to take the matter expeditiously taking into consideration the SOPs prescribed by the High Court during COVID-19 pandemic.
Disposed of.
