Mr. Aseem Sawhney, learned AAG appearing for Union Territory
submits that the investigation in FIR bearing No. 58 dated 02.08.2020 registered with the police of Police Station, Janipur, Jammu for the commission of offence under Section-376-D/109 I. P.C. stands closed as not proved. He further submits that the Sub Divisional Police Officer is under home quarantine and as soon as he recovers, the closure report shall be submitted before the competent Court.
In view of the above, learned counsel for the applicants does not want to press the bail application as well as the petition filed under section 482 Cr.P.C. at this stage.
