Learned Dy. Advocate General submits that in view of the communication dated 20.05.2026, the case of the petitioner for the pension has been prepared by the Divisional Forest Officer, Karsog Forest Division, HP and forwarded to the office of the Accountant General, HP, in view of the directions issued by the learned Single Judge in CWP

Learned counsel for respondent No.2 has placed on record Pension Payment Order-cum-Communication Payment Order dated 21.07.2026, whereby the pension of the petitioner has been fixed from 01.04.2023. The same is taken on record and copy thereof has been supplied to the learned counsel for the appellants and respondent No.1.

In such circumstances, we are of the considered opinion that the matter has been rendered infructuous. The State shall act upon the Pension Payment Order within six weeks from today, failing which, the State will be liable to pay interest @ 9% on the arrears.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of, so
