The respondents have filed reply to the execution petition and placed on record the office order dated 05.08.2026 passed by the Director, Rural Development Department, Himachal Pradesh.

A perusal of the aforesaid order reveals that the benefit to count continuous uninterrupted ad hoc service rendered by the petitioner as Panchayat Secretary from 08.02.1985 till substantive appointment-regularization on 30.11.1996 has been ordered to be granted in favour of the petitioner.

Once the respondents have passed an order, whereby the benefit of regularization has been granted in favour of the petitioner, in sequel to the directions passed by this Court in the judgment sought to be executed, the mandate contained in the judgment dated 22.11.2025 passed in CWPOA No.866 of 2019, titled, Shamsher Singh vs. State of Himachal Pradesh and others , has been complied with, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition and the same is closed. However, it is made clear that in case the arrears on account of orders having been passed in favour of the petitioner are not paid within eight weeks from today, he shall be at liberty to file an application for revival of the execution petition.

The execution petition is accordingly disposed of, so also the pending applications, if any.
