By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has inter alia

prayed for the following reliefs:-

“i) That the retirement of the petitioner at the age of 58 years may be set aside/quashed and the respondents may be ordered to pay salary of two years’ to the petitioner, which he could have earned if retired at the age of 60 years.”

In light of the fact that the issue raised by the petitioner

in this petition is pending adjudication before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, as agreed, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the parties shall abide by the final judgment passed by Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Satya Devi’s case. Pending
