A prayer has been made that the barsi of the father of the petitioner is being held on 23.9.2026 and he may be sent in custody to his native place to attend the barsi. This submission is not opposed by learned Deputy Advocate General for the respondent/State.

Considering the fact that attending the barsi of the father is a pious obligation of the son, the prayer is allowed and the Jail Superintendent, Sub Jail, Solan, H.P. is directed to take the petitioner to Gurudwara Sahib Patshahi 6, Gurusar Kaonke, District Ludhiana, Pubjab in proper custody to attend the barsi of his father on 23.9.2023 and thereafter, he be brought back to the Jail under proper escort. The petitioner shall bear all the expenses of transportation and also to provide food to the police official accompanying him.

A copy of this order be sent to Superintendent, Sub-Jail, Solan, District Solan, H.P. through FASTER, to ensure the necessary compliance.

List the application before appropriate Bench after one week.
