22.04.2026 Present: Ms. Ritu Sharma, Advocate, for the nonapplicant/petitioner. Mr. Devender K. Sharma, Advocate, for applicant/respondent No.1. Mr. Rajan Kahol & Mr. Vishal Panwar, Additional Advocates General and Mr. Ravi Chauhan & Mr. Anish Banshtu, Deputy Advocates General, for the State.
By way of instant application, prayer has been made by the applicant/respondent No.1 for release of amount lying deposited with the Registry of this Court as well as learned trial Court. It is averred in the application that parties have settled their dispute amicably before National Lok Adalat, in terms whereof, non-applicant/petitioner shall pay sum of Rs.50,000/over and above the amount lying deposited with the Registry of this Court as well as trial Court.
Ms. Ritu Sharma, Advocate, appearing for the nonapplicant/petitioner states that on account of financial constraints, her client was unable to deposit the afore amount, but same shall be deposited during the course of the day in the Registry of this Court by way of DD. She further states that as per order passed by the National Lok Adalat, afore sum of Rs. 50,000/- as well as amount already deposited before the Registry of this Court and learned trial Court can be ordered to be released in favour of the applicant/respondent.
In view of the above, there appears to be no impediment in accepting the prayer made in the application, as such, same is allowed and Registry of this court as well as learned trial Court are directed to release the amount deposited by the petitioner with them in the case at hand, in favour of the applicant by remitting the same in her saving bank account, detail whereof stands furnished in para 4 of the application, along with sum of Rs. 50,000/- undertaken to be deposited today before the Registry of this Court The application is disposed of.
