While placing on record communication dated 14.9.2026 issued under the signature of Under Secretary (Education) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, learned Additional Advocate General states that sum of Rs. 84,14,907/- has been sanctioned by the Government, enabling the respondent department to liquidate its liability towards the petitioners as well as other similarly situate persons. He states that as and when aforesaid amount is received, arrears of the petitioners in terms of judgment alleged to have been violated, shall be cleared.

2. In view of the above, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant proceedings and accordingly, present petition is disposed of. Notices stand discharged. However, directions are issued to the Secretary (Education) to ensure that consequential benefits flowing from the judgment alleged to have been violated shall be released expeditiously, preferably within a period of two weeks, failing which petitioner would be at liberty to get the present petition revived so that appropriate action in accordance with law is taken against the erring officials.
