At this stage, learned Additional Advocate General have placed on record communication dated 21.07.2026, wherein it has been stated as under:

“In view of the above, this Department is of the considered opinion that no useful purpose would be served by pursuing the aforesaid appeals. Accordingly, the AD may accept the advice of the learned Advocate General and take appropriate steps for withdrawal of the above-mentioned appeals/CMP(M)s before the Hon’ble High Court, in accordance with law. The AD shall, however, satisfy itself that the proposed withdrawal does not prejudice the interests of the State in any manner.”
