pleadings submitted that the petitioners are major and are living together. That they are living together out of their own free volition. Learned counsel further submitted that the petitioners are apprehending threat to their lives from respondents No.3 to 8, who

are their relatives. In that regard, petitioners have already moved an application to respondent No.2-Supeintending of Police, Shimla on 03.09.2024 (Annexure P-2).

Looking to the grievances of the petitioners, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2-Superintending of Police to take action in accordance with law upon the representation/complaint dated 03.09.2024 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioners, expeditiously, after perceiving the threat being faced by the petitioners as also after analyzing the factual position. By way of abundant caution, it is clarified that contents of petition have not been examined on merits. The above order has been passed in view of the allegations of threat to their lives levelled by the petitioners. The observations made above shall not be construed an opinion on merits of the matter. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
