Precisely, the grouse of the petitioners as has been highlighted in the present petition and further canvassed by Mr. Vishal Singh Thakur, learned counsel for the petitioner is that though the petitioner has secured more than 80% marks in 10+1, but yet his prayer to provide scholarship under “Medha Protsahan Yojna, (hereinafter referred to as the “scheme”) for the academic session 202324 has not been

considered till date. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates/students desirous of getting scholarship under the said scheme should have secured 75% marks in respect of General Category and 65% in respect of SC/ST/OBC/IRDP/BPL in previous class/examination i.e 10+1. Since the petitioner, who is from the General Category has obtained more than 75 marks in 10+1 class, coupled with the fact that he has applied for scholarship under the aforesaid scheme, this Court vide order dated 8.4.2024 called upon learned Additional Advocate General to have instructions, why the case of the petitioner has not been considered.
