22.08.2025 Present: Mr. Raman Jamalta, Advocate, for the petitioner.
Mr. Anup Rattan, Advocate General with Ms. Priyanka Chauhan, Deputy Advocate General for the respondents.
The matter was put up on account of compliance report directed by this Court vide order dated 12.12.2024, when the petition was disposed of.
As per affidavit now filed by the Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Himachal Pradesh, show cause notices have been issued to various police officials and it has been directed to initiate departmental proceedings against them. Further, the deponent has tendered unconditional apology regarding the delay in submitting the compliance affidavit.
Keeping in view the above, by accepting the compliance affidavit, we do not wish to proceed further in the matter. Accordingly, the matter is closed.
