10.3.2026 Present: Mr. Munish Dhatwalia, Advocate, for the petitioner. Mr. Kulbhushan Khajuria, Advocate, for the respondent.
Pursuant to show cause notice issued in terms of order dated 6.1.2026, petitioner Sadhu Ram has come present in person. He states that on account of financial constraints, he is unable to deposit 15% of the compounding fee. He states that with great difficulty, he has been able to pay the loan amount.
Since petitioner, who is driver by profession and is getting meager salary of Rs. 8,000/- per month, this court deems it fit to modify the direction contained in para-6 of the order dated 16.12.2024 to the extent that instead of 15%, he shall deposit 7.5 % of the cheque amount with the Registry of this Court within four weeks, failing which he shall render himself liable for penal consequence as well as contempt of
Court. Ordered accordingly.
