By means of this application moved under Section 36 (4) of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, delay in filing the objections under Section 34 of the Act is being sought to be contended. The award was announced on 30.07.2022 and copy thereof is stated to have been received by the applicants-appellants on 03.08.2022. The objections have been preferred within 120 days. The delay of 21 days, as occurred in filing the objections, has been sufficiently explained in the application. No reply is intended to be filed to the application on behalf of the non-applicant/respondent. Accordingly, for the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed. The delay in filing the objections is condoned. The application to stand disposed of.

The applicants seek permission to deposit the awarded amount in terms of the impugned award dated 30.07.2022, passed by the learned Arbitrator. The prayer of the applicants is allowed to the extent that the applicants are permitted to deposit the entire awarded amount alongwith

up to date interest in terms of the award dated 30.07.2022 within a period of four weeks from today. The application to stand disposed of.
