Learned Additional Advocate General has placed on record communication dated 02.12.2023 received from the Director General of Police, whereby it has been informed that vide letter dated 30.11.2023 received from the Government in the office of Director General of Police on 01.12.2023, direction has been issued to Superintendent of Police, Una and Commandant Ist IR Battalion Bangarh, Una to extend all consequential benefits to the petitioners immediately in accordance with judgment passed by the Court. The said communication is stated to have been issued on 01.12.2023.
In view of above, the petition is closed and disposed of with direction to the respondents to ensure complete compliance in time bound manner preferably on or before 31.01.2024. Needless to say, petitioner shall be at liberty to avail appropriate remedy if still
