General, while placing on record communication dated 9.12.2019 sent by the Divisional Forest Officer, Bilaspur, Forest
Division, Bilaspur, H.P., contends that sum of Rs. 80,000/- has
been remitted in the bank account of the petitioner. Aforesaid
communication is taken on record.

reveals that sum of Rs.80,000/- stands deposited in the bank account of the petitioner vide order dated 30.8.2019, but since aforesaid amount received by the Department in auction remained with it for considerable time, petitioner is also entitled to interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of auction till its deposit in the bank account of the petitioner.
petition is disposed of with the direction to the Divisional Forest Officer, Bilaspur, H.P., to ensure that interest, as levied by this Court on the sum of Rs.80,000/- from the date of auction till its deposit, is also paid to the petitioner within a period of one month from today, failing which petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court, so that appropriate proceedings are initiated against the erring official. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
