The applicant/appellant has filed this application for clarification of the judgment dated 17.06.2016 passed in FAO No. 407 of 2010 insofar as it pertains to the grant of interest. Admittedly, this Court has not interfered with the award passed by the learned Tribunal insofar as it relates to the grant of interest, therefore, necessarily the rate of interest as awarded by the learned Tribunal below is deemed to have been awarded in favour of the claimant. Accordingly, the application is disposed of with the clarification that the applicant/appellant shall be entitled to the interest at the rate of 7.5% per annum from the date of filing of the petition till the realization of the entire compensation amount including the enhanced compensation amount. Application stands disposed of.

Let the entire amount including the enhanced amount of compensation along with up-to-date interest be released in favour of the claimant/applicant-appellant by remitting the same to her bank account, the details whereof have been given in Annexure A-1 annexed with this application.
