Report of Police Inspector, AHTU, Mehsana is produced on record and the police has presented the corpus. According to the report, at the time of the FIR which was filed by the father, the corpus was 16 years and 8 months. A copy of the report is taken on record. The date of birth as per the report as well as school leaving certificate produced on record shows as 15.1.2009.

When we interacted with the corpus in chamber proceedings, the corpus has stated that her parents were forcing her to marry with a person not to her likings and stated that she on her own had left the house and was working in the field of Navadra Jamkalyanpur, District Devbhoomi Dwarka.

Father is present before this Court along with the learned advocate Mr. Zaveri. The corpus has expressed her desire to join the father. The police has produced the corpus and has asked for the permission for the medical examination of the corpus and since the father has filed a case, let the corpus be medically examined. Since the corpus is yet minor, the custody of the corpus is handed over to the applicant – father. The report of the police is taken on record.

Accordingly, the present application stands disposed of.
