Heard learned advocate Mr. Tejas Mehta appearing for the

petitioner and learned advocate Mr. Anuj Trivedi appearing for the respondent nos. 1 and 2 through hybrid mode.

By way of the present petition under Articles 226 and 227 of

the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:

“(A) Your Lordships may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus and/or a writ in the nature of Mandamus and/or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondent no.2 herein – Estate Officer, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Bodakdev, Ahmedabad to immediately take appropriate steps in view of the complaint/representation made by the petitioner on 21.04.2026 (Annnexure-C to the present petition) and Your Lordships may be pleased to direct the respondent no. 3 herein to immediately remove the objectionable hoarding forthwith or to take appropriate steps by limiting the size of such hoarding which may not endure the life of the people visiting the complex, in the interest of justice;

(B) Your Lordships may be pleased to direct the respondent no. 3 to inspect the site in question and to take appropriate safety

measures including fire safety measures by issuing suitable writ, order or directions under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, in the interest of justice;

(C ) During the pendency and final disposal of the present petition, Your Lordships may be pleased to direct the respondent no. 2 herein – Estate Officer, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Bodakdev, Ahmedabad to immediately take appropriate steps in view of the complaint/representation made by the petitioner on 21.04.2026 (Annexure-C tot he present petition) and Your Lordships may be pleased to direct the respondent no. 2 herein to immediately remove the objectionable hoarding forthwith or to take appropriate steps by limiting the size of such hoarding which may not endure the life of the people visiting the complex, in the interest of justice;

respondents under instructions states that the representation/ application of the petitioner dated 21.04.2026 will be considered and decided in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and within a period of three weeks.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned advocate for the respondent, without going into the merits of the matter, the present petition stands disposed of. It is however, observed that as per the statement made the respondents shall decide the application dated 21.04.2026 in accordance with law preferably within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
