Heard learned advocate Mr. Jaydeep Bauddh for learned advocate Mr. Nabil Baloch for the petitioner. By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following relief;

“(A) Direct the Respondent The Chief Officer Lunawada Nagar Palika to process the application filed by the Petitioner at Annexure A to this Petition and Grant a Legal and Valid NOC and Permission for Running Slaughter expeditiously without booking any delay as Petitioner is identical situated as Order as CAV order dated 11.4.2026 passed in WRIT PETITION (PIL) No. 133 of 2021 by this Honorable Court and

(B) Direct the Respondent -The Chief Officer Lunawada Nagar Palika to process the application filed by the Petitioner at Annexure A to this Petition and to give opportunity of hearing to Grant a Legal and Valid NOC and Permission for Running Slaughter.”

It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner wants to run a slaughterhouse, for which he has sought a valid NOC from the Chief Officer, Lunawada Nagarpalika, by preferring an application on 12th June, 2026. The said application is pending before the Chief Officer, Lunawada Municipality. Considering the fact that the petitioner has prayed for processing of the application, the Chief Officer, Lunawada, is directed to process the application made by the petitioner in accordance with law and hear and decide the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order.

With the above direction, without entering into the merits of the matter, the petition is disposed of.
