As the petitioner has already preferred an appeal which is pending before the Cantonment Board, if the petitioner prefers an appropriate application before the Cantonment Board, the Cantonment Board is directed to hear and decide the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from today.
In view of above, learned advocate Ms. Rajput seeks permission to withdraw this petition, keeping all the rights and contentions of all the sides open. Permission, as prayed for, is granted. The present petition stands disposed of as withdrawn. It is clarified that this Court has not gone into the merits of the matter.
