ORAL ORDER
The present application has been preferred by the applicant – convict through jail seeking regularization 87 days of late surrender.
I have perused the application and documents on record. It also emerges from the record that the convict was released on parole leave, but he could not surrender in time due to corona pandemic and engagement of his daughter, he was late by 87 days in surrendering and, therefore, the present application is preferred.
In view of the aforesaid facts, due to corona pandemic and engagement of his daughter, the convict was late by 87 days in surrendering to the jail authority. Hence, the present application requires consideration. The period of late surrender by 87 days is hereby regularized. Accordingly, the application is allowed. Jail authority concerned be informed accordingly.
