[1] This petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, with following prayers:-

“8(A) Your Lordship may be pleased to issue writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Ld. Collector of Gandhinagar to adjudicate the revision application dated 29.08.2020 bearing case no. RTS/Revision/S.R./320/2020 preferred against the order dated 20.07.2016 in RTS/Appeal/SR/82/2020 passed by the Ld. Prant Adhikari, Gandhinagar, within 30 days of the order;

[2] Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that on account of compulsion that the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court as the application filed by the petitioner though filed on 29.08.2020 against the order dated 20.07.2016 in RTS Appeal No.SR/82/2012 by the Prant Adhikari, Gandhinagar is not taken up for hearing and even an application for urgent hearing filed on 09.10.2020 is also not been taken up.

[3] It is submitted that in the interregnum period, there has been development in the land and now pursuant to the sale deeds in

connection with the residential units on the land in question, rights have been created of other parties and therefore, there is urgency that the respondent to decide the matter. As the petitioner is satisfied with the innocuous order that can be passed directing the respondent to consider the application dated 09.10.2020 for urgent hearing in Revision Application No.S.R./320/2020 in the peculiar facts and circumstances of the present case, the present direction is issued.

[4] The respondent-Collector, Gandhinagar shall consider the application dated 09.10.2020 for urgent hearing in Revision Application No.S.R./320/2020 as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one month from receipt of the order of this Court.

[5] With the aforesaid, the petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that the Court has not entered in to the merits of the case.
